Welcome to  Dionne's Bliss!

A cosy, warm and artsy Bed & Breakfast in the 9 streets area of Amsterdam.

Dionne’s Bliss is a place where we want you to feel at home. Surrounded with art and the typical Amsterdam houses. A place with the comfort of a hotel and the warmth of a home. Dionne (the host) is always ready to share her knowledge and help whenever necessary. Dionne’s Bliss is a small Bed & Breakfast with two amazing rooms. Both rooms are inspired by paintings of the famous Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. Therefore, the rooms are called after the names of the paintings; The stary night room and the Almond Blossom room. You can visit the van Gogh museum at the museum quarter to take a glance at the real paintings. The museum quarter is only a 5 minutes ride by bike.

You will be staying in the seventeenth-century canal ring area of Amsterdam. Which is on the Unesco’s World Heritage list. Within only a few minutes walking distance you will find, Dam square, the Anne Frank house and Amsterdam’s largest shopping area. The B&B is located in the 9 streets area of the canal ring. The quaint and quirky streets that straddle Amsterdam’s grandest canals form the city’s most photogenic micro-neighbourhood. Known to locals as De Negen Straatjes or ‘The Nine Streets’, this special neighbourhood is full to bursting with vintage and designer shopping, speciality stores, cosy cafés and a sustainable supermarket. The 9 streets area is the ideal neighbourhood to get to know lively Amsterdam. What makes is even better; The location of the Bed & Breakfast is so central, that all the famous attractions are within walking distance. Such as, the flower market, the red-light district, Dam square and a variety of museums.  Also, for a night out or just to grab a drink, Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein are very close by.

‘A must if you want to hang out where the locals do.’
(Thomas Cook Travel Magazine)

‘Easily Amsterdam’s best shopping hub; a charming mixture of designer boutiques, art galleries, vintage clothing stores, gift shops and places to eat and drink.’
(The New York Times)

Altogether, it should give you a great authentic Amsterdam experience. An experience you will never forget. An experience that we would like to enhance with the comfort and warmth of our Bed & Breakfast. A Bed and Breakfast that will make you feel at home in Amsterdam.
